Ler E’s founder, Esther Loh Chew Yong, had the great idea of bringing the glorious South African abalone to Singapore rather than the usual Australian abalone. Loh was one of the first distributors/importers in SouthEast Asia to partner directly with Abagold, and is the only importer to Singapore.
Ler E’s abalone is from the pristine cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean provide the necessary nutrients and environment for the production of the highest quality Abalone.

Loh knew the importance of building a direct relationship with the supplier of Abagold. Not only does it help to receive competitive wholesale offers but it creates a candid, communicative relationship making it easier to provide feedback to our suppliers.Thus, the long standing relationship between Ler E and Abagold was born.
We decided that the B2B model would work best for us and we reached out to a variety of local businesses and MNCs based in Singapore such as Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant, and the Pan Pacific.
We hope to bring the renowned and delicious abalone to the younger generation, so they can carry on the past generations traditions or even create new ones. We also hope to expand our selection of products, always providing excellence and quality as we have done for the past 16 years!
